I know it has been a LOOONG time since I have made a blog post. Instead of giving one hundred excuses as to why this happened, I’m going to just pick right up and try my best to be more consistent. I’m going to start with a topic that I am very passionate about – thrifting/consignment shopping.
One of the things that I inherited from my mom is her love for thrift store shopping. I often tell people that my mom is one of the best thrift store shoppers there is. She can go into a store that looks like there is absolutely nothing worthwhile there and come out with a $3 designer suit that looks practically brand new. It’s amazing!
The older I get the more I find myself developing my mom’s passion and knack for finding great deals. It’s almost like I get a high from paying less than $5 for something that retails for $30 or more. I love the challenge of going into a thrift store and finding the biggest deal there! The biggest thrill is when I get compliments on something that I know I only paid a few bucks for. So, when I discovered the Rhea Lana’s Children’s Consignment Event, I was beyond elated! When I tell you that Rhea Lana’s has the best consignment sales I have ever experienced, I mean it with every fiber of my being. The organization of the events along with the high quality of items you will find there make this bi-annual (Spring & Fall) children’s consignment event a thrift store addicts dream.
I have been volunteering, consigning, and shopping at the Rhea Lana’s of North Atlanta event for about 2 1/2 years now, and I’ve been wanting to do a video about the great deals I find there. Well, I have finally done it! Aren’t you proud of me? I had so many great things to show you all that I had to break up my haul video into two parts. After doing the longer videos, I decided to do a shorter one just highlighting my Top 12 Favorite Finds at the Spring 2014 sale (for those of you who want the short version). So, here you go! I hope you enjoy the videos, and I hope you check Rhea Lana’s out.
